IL PRIMO EVENTO DI WORLDWORK IN ITALIA!

It is four years since we formed the Italian school of Processwork, Arte del Processo. Now we would like to share more widely the richness of this method.
Worldwork offers an experience of an important aspect of Processwork and how it can be applied to the socio-political issues of our times.
We believe it is necessary, in this important time, to develop techniques for facilitating our own conflicts , both the internal ones and the ones out there in the world.
We want to support citizens and leaders in every sector in the realisation of spaces of Dialogue, of Deep Democracy, and in the dissemination of free information, where all voices can be heard.
We would like to be part of a story which supports the participation of everyone, inquiring together into the issues of immigration, economy, education, politics, climate change, human rights and gender violence ..
Each of us has a share of responsibility in this time of great change, and Worldwork offers a safe space in which to meet one another in all our diversity.

Our objectives are:

  • To encourage citizens and leaders in every sector to come together and to participate in this space of Open Dialogue in order to engage in an Italy that needs each and every one of us.
  • To co-create a space of Interactive Dialogue in small and bigger groups.
  • To welcome diversity di etnia, classe sociale, orientamento sessuale, genere, età, educazione, salute.
  • To develop techniques for facilitating our internal and external conflicts and for working with diversity.
  • To catalyse a collective dream that supports the leadership of everyone.
  • To explore together what we THINK about the issues of immigration, the current political situation, climate change, gender,…and how we feel about the world that we live in; our families, our communities, our local areas, our neighbours and organisations.

We are excited to invite you to the first ever Worlwork event in Italy, which will include both open forums and teaching.
Our facilitators: three experienced international Process work teachers - Ana Rhodes, Gill Emslie and Bogna Szymkiewicz.

Each one of us is needed!

OPEN FORUM

BEYOND LIMITS

What are we prepared to risk to include others and ourselves?

CAN WE SPEAK ABOUT IMMIGRATION?

We want to give everyone an experience to enter in to a facilitated dialogue on a ‘hot’ topic, such as the issue of immigration. For this, within the seminar, we have decided to offer an Open Space at NO COST in which ALL VOICES can be heard.

SATURDAY 12 JANUARY AT 17.00 TO 19.00 - whoever wants to explore these issues in a peaceful way, in a safe environment, is welcome.

WHAT IS AN OPEN FORUM?

'The open forum is an ideal place for a community to get to know the richness of the diversity of ideas and feelings held by its members. Forums are public meeting places which host open discussions on collective problems. When working with a theme the open forum can become a magical space, able to hold the opinion of each individual. The concept of the Open Forum can be practised anywhere there are groups of people who are trying to work together. We use the term Open Forum to indicate an Open Space, which is relatively informal, in which part of or the whole of an organisation can come together to explore the goal of how to resolve existing problems and how to create community. The shared experience that we call the Open Forum is actually an ancient tradition that was practised in various ways, in most countries across the world.'
