SUPERVISION INTENSIVE by Gill Emslie and Sergi Barrientos

SIGNALS, TRENDS AND SPIRITS OF OUR TIME

Reading and facilitating the History of our Days

This supervision intensive seminar is designed to guide students in the practical application of methods and levels of processes, improving their effectiveness as facilitators. During the five days, the participants will use tools and skills to develop their ability to follow the feedback cycle in a mutual learning environment.

The program focuses on first training skills (First Training) such as work on the limits, inner critics and the analysis of signals and on second training skills (Second training) for an advanced understanding the process mind. Key questions will be explored such as: how history is reflected in the present, how global crises influence individual and collective experience, and how world tensions shape personal processes.

Topic

This supervision space is designed to guide students on how and when to use the different methods and levels of process work in practice. You will experience how to use skills and tools to sharp and improve your effectiveness as a facilitator following the feedback loop created during the 5 days intensive.

We will create a space of mutual learning to deepen:

  • the skills of “first training”, information on channels, work on the limits and with inner critics, the analysis of signals and everything that supports us in our work with clients in structural analysis.
  • the “second training” skills that refer to a deeper understanding of Process mind.

In particular, in this intensive we will focus on the following questions:

  • How does history manifest itself in the present?
  • How do the various trends and tensions in the world influence and relate to the individual’s experience and to one’s own relationships?
  • How the endless crises the world is experiencing: climatic, relational, economic, migratory, manifest themselves and shape individual and collective processes?

This highly experiential training will offer you the opportunity to focus on your growth boundaries as a processwork student, facilitator, counsellor or process-oriented therapist.
The seminar is open to all Process Work students of all levels: former and current students from our school and from other international school of Process Work.
