How to enter the fire, sit in it and emerge fired up instead of burnt out

Fight, flight and freeze are typical responses to danger that we inherited in the course of evolution. We often use the same mechanisms while responding to what we perceive as psychological danger: conflict, criticism, accusation. Though they have positive functions, they are definitely not enough and do not lead to constructive outcomes.
The seminar is held in Italian and English and is open to all members upon check of regular membership (20€ annual membership fee) and payment of the seminar fee.
In this workshop we are going to:
- Learn when and how to enter conflict.
- Practice giving and receiving feedback.
- Try out various possibilities of reacting to accusations.
- Learn how to deal with emotions that arise during conflict.
- Develop our ability to create a relationship base that is needed in the moment of turmoil.
- Learn how to prevent escalation in conflict and how to move towards resolutions.
RECIPIENTS
This on-line workshop is for everyone who is interested in deepening their abilities of dealing with conflict, feedback and accusations. Long-term Process Work students as well as newcomers and beginners are welcome.
The workshop is suitable for those who have conflicting patterns in their relationships with their families or close people, for those who work in teams, for those who coordinate even informal groups, for those who work with young people to encourage a new approach to communication and relationship.
Teachers, social workers, family advisors, volunteer workers, professionals and non-professionals who work in multicultural contexts, and who are confronted with social distress and / or with situations of street violence.
All participants will be guided to:
- experimenting with a new communication approach through a way of entering into a profound, effective and transformative relationship;
- immediately put into practice in one’s own areas of personal interest the theoretical and practical tools learned;
- create the conditions to offer and receive the support of a sensitive and encouraging human environment in order to transform one’s own and others’ conflicts;
- deepen and value the opportunities for conflict as moments of individual and collective growth, rather than considering them as events to be suffered, avoided or just fought;
- develop awareness of the possible meanings of a conflict within our relational processes and reveal its hidden evolutionary message.
This 13-hour seminar is valid for 26 CFP training credits.

The seminar is reserved for members of Arte del Processo Association (annual membership fee 20€).
