November 18 @ 10:00 am - November 19 @ 6:00 pm
DYNAMICS OF RANK AND POWER IN SOCIAL SYSTEMS: Using power with awareness and effectiveness, a fundamental skill
SEMINAR with Gill Emslie
All areas of our life are affected: from the unconscious marginalization of parts of our experience, to the way we engage in winning / losing dynamic battles with our family members, our neighbors, with our counterparts in other organizations and between organizations and nations.
This seminar is held in English with Italian translation and is open to all.
This 13-hour webinar is valid for 39 CFP training credits.
In this training we will learn:
- To access our deepest source;
- To bring awareness to our tendencies to adapt or to dominate others;
- To increase our ability to frame and facilitate these dynamics within us, in groups and in the world.
Topics covered in this seminar
Based on Dr. Arnold Mindell’s Processwork approach with its multidimensional framework and deep democracy metcapacities, this transdisciplinary approach emphasizes learning in the body and increased awareness at its core.
Participants will explore the outer boundaries of their awareness and learn to stay aware and focused amidst tension. Participants will learn attitudes, awareness methods and concrete skills to work with diverse and multicultural groups and communities. We will use our group dynamics, and the relationships within our group, as a laboratory to practice facilitating the polarizations, conflicts and tensions that arise between us.

- Working with the complexities of power dynamics and marginalization.
- Inner work
